§ 2-46. Duties generally.

The village clerk shall give notice of council meetings, shall keep the journal of the council proceedings, shall authenticate by his signature and record in full in a book kept for the purpose all ordinances and resolutions and shall perform such other duties as required by the Charter or by ordinance. Deputy clerks may be appointed by the village manager when necessary.
