§ 17-12. Restriction on use of street.

  • No peddler shall have exclusive right to any location in the public streets, nor shall any peddler be permitted to operate in any stationary location or be permitted to operate in any congested area where his operations might impede or inconvenience the public. This restriction may be waived by the village manager at his discretion when Miami Shores sponsored activities shall take place anywhere in the village. The judgement of the Miami Shores police officer shall be deemed conclusive as to whether an area is congested or the public is impeded or inconvenienced.
