§ 302. Construction of map.
In construing the said map, the following rules shall apply:
(1)
Where district boundaries are indicated as approximately following the boundary lines of streets, alleys, railroads, public lands or channels or bodies of water, such lines shall be construed to be such boundaries.
(2)
Where such boundaries are indicated so that they approximately follow the lines of lots or other parcels of record and are not more than ten feet distant therefrom, such lot or parcel lines shall be construed to be such boundaries.
(3)
If the foregoing rules do not apply, the location of a district boundary, unless the same is indicated by dimensions shown on said map, shall be determined by use of the scale appearing thereon.
(4)
Where a street or alley shown on the Official Zoning Map is hereafter officially vacated by replatting or otherwise, the land formerly in such street or alley right-of-way shall be included within the zoning district of adjoining property owned in common thereat on either side of said vacated street or alley. In the event such street or alley was a district boundary between two or more different zoning districts, the district boundary shall be the former centerline of such vacated street or alley.
